In 1993 the Canine Event drew a large crowd to see many demonstrations of dogs working and doing various activities. 1000 books were distributed explaining overpopulation and the consequences from it. Click on the above image to see larger pictures.

For many years we ran Rabies Clinics where people could get $5.00 shots for their animals. This was before the DVM's in the area started to run clinics, and we like to think that we got them started.

Now the focus of the WMAL is education. Visits to area schools are planned for the future.
